Actually I closely followed the video repairman's step by step instructions. Everything was just as he described and the replacement of the Lid Switch Assembly was simple--must have been because I could do it. I did make a list of each step the repairman suggested and took the list with me to the laundry room. This is the second repair I have made to the washer--replaced the inlet valve about a year ago. This was the second inlet valve replacement probably due to silt from our well after a storm. The first was replaced by our local repairman in 2001--to the tune of $77. With inflation I possibly saved $120 for the two simple repairs I made using PartSelect. Needless to say, I'm sold on PartSelect and their prompt shipping. Thanks
