First I turned the power off at the circuit box. I watched a helpful YouTube video several times. Then I used a Torx 20 driver to remove the door panel screws. I propped the door open and pulled the wires on either side of the latch. I then removed the latch and placed the new latch in place after reconnecting the wires. After replacing the screws into the door and the latch, I turned on the power and checked for leaks. All was fine. Hardest part was pulling the wires out of the broken latch. Pulling with plliers was necessary. Marking the new latch "w" and "b" with a marker for white and black insured I reconnected wires to the proper side.
