Removed the top cap and the inner cap. Placed a magnet on the side of my socket, loosened the agitator bolt. removed the agitator, old cogs, o-ring and replaced with new. Reversed my order and reassembled everything. A new seal on the inner cap, pop back on the outer cap, and my wife is again my best friend. ( I could have done the job in half the time, but because of the age of the appliance, I took extra time to thoroughly clean all of the parts and the inside of the washer. Very easy to do and the machine runs like a brand new one.
