I first took off the vent in the back to check for anything restricting the airflow. There was nothing so I just vacummed then anyway. Then I took off the front door and then the front cover - note this model you can reach everything from the front vs. other models in the back. You should unplug the unit from the wall. I used the multimeter and after unplugging atleast one wire from each part such at the thermostat for continuity I determined that all parts were working properly. But the ignitor which is hard to test continuity wasn't working to I bet that was the problem and ordered the part. It came in two days and I was up and running. Be careful with the part when you remove and replace it is delicate. A little heads up - once you replace the part just put the door back on and turn on the dryer and see if the ignitor lights up and then the gas comes out. If you do not put the door back on it will not work because of safety features. Once it you test this was the problem you can then take off the door and put the entire front back together. good luck
