Determined with ohm meter that the defrost heater was defective (open). Thermostat also was defective per ohm/volt test. Replacement of the heater/thermostat assembly was very simple. Remove two screws and I think two 1/4" that secured the panel. Unplug the harness and I think four more screws securing the harness assembly. Remove harness and install the new harness. Route wiring as the old harness and secure with removed screws. Plug back in and reinstall panel. Work great once again.
