First, I found your site (I entered Whirlpool parts) and tried to diagnose the symptoms. Next, I found the part I thought was malfunctioning described by a list of symptoms on your website. What was very helpful was the installation video that was attached on you site for the specific part. The lid switch was identical to the OEM part that came on the washer. Installation went well. The hardest part was aligning the cabinet back on the washer. All in all, very satisfied with everything. Oh, the part was about 50% less than what I could buy it for in the city I live in.
