I could see the glow of the igniter through the broiler opening but the burner tube wouldn't light. I ordered a new igniter and replaced it. Worked great after that. You have to remove the two racks in your oven. Then remove the two screws in the back, bottom. Then remove the bottom plate. The igniter was right there. Remove the two machine, hex nut screws holding the igniter in place. gently pull the wire connection through the back hole to expose and disconnect it. Your new igniter comes with a connector already on it but it won't necessarily fit your old one (like in my case) so use the wire strippers to cut the connector off and strip the wires. Then use the two ceramic wire nuts to re-connect it. Put everything back together and let your spouse pay hommage to the talented, remarkable person you are! PartSelect Rocks!
