This was the easiest repair I've ever done, I am usually intimidated by appliance repair, but decided to try this one. Very important: turn the power off to the dishwasher at the breaker, there are exposed terminal connections that are easy to touch. The door handle/door latch assembly is held on by the screws that hold the inside of the door in place, so once I took the screws off the inside of the door, the handle and latch were disconnected except for the wires to the switches. There is one switch on each side with a connector to the wires. I found it easier to slide the switches off the old door latch assembly, rather than unhook the wire connectors. I then slid the switches off the new door latch assembly, and slid the old ones with wires attached onto the new assembly. I put the new door latch assembly back on the door, and reattached the inside of the door with the screws. All done, it's as simple as that.
