I did some research online and found that others were having the same problem and I read how they fixed it. It truly was as easy as they wrote. I replaced the run capacitor and the relay overload with parts from "PartSelect". In the process I blew out the accumulation of dust on the bottom of fridge, and just like that, the freezer started freezing and no more noise. $106.00 repair vs. $1600.00 for a new one. My Whirlpool is now like new.
