Removed old and put on new. Still leaked. Removed new. Took it apart. Reviewed 2 inch piece that fits into air gap piece. Was not like old piece. Rubber housing on plastic "valve" was not fitted correctly. Fiddled with it until it appeared as the old one. Put it back together. No leak. Would be a good idea for you to check to make sure the pieces are put together correctly.
