My boyfriend changed the fuse first, that didn't work. I then ordered heating element and 250F Thermostat, the parts came very quickly. He then replaced the element and 250F Thermostat and still no heat. Last ditch effort was to order Thermal Cut-off. The plate that went with the Thermal cut-ff is a universal part, and my boyfriend didn't think it would work, but everything else had been changed, so he did and the dryer is back to drying everything within a 1/2 hour. Hopefully with all the fuses changed and heating element, it will last another 20 years. This site is awesome and helpful.
