Happened Friday evening on a holiday weekend. Go figure. Assumed the problem was the run capacitor. Checked for troubleshooting advice on Internet. Similar problem reported on another Frigidair where the ceramic disc had broken inside the starter module. Said if you shake it and hear it rattle it's broken. Sure enough, pieces were falling out. Had to wait till Tuesday to find out no one in the entire city stocked the starter module. Ordered and received the part Saturday. Truly surprised that FedEx delivers on Saturday. 10 minutes later with new start module and existing run capacitor installed the fridge was working like new. The new and old parts were made in Mexico. I hope I have a longer running part this time. The most difficult task in changing the part is unlocking the wire terminals on the module with a small flat bladed screwdriver.
