Faulty water inlet valve-leaking

After calling GE and getting nothing else but "we have to send a technician for an initial fee of $79 and no probable cost evaluation, and we do not provide advice or information on the phone or on line", I decided that I would just purchase the part for $35 and see what happened. Two previous GE appliance repairs were over $400 so the "risk" here was rather small. It literally took 5 minutes to replace the part. The available video was extremely useful and showed how I may have been the one breaking the original part in the first place. Delivery was extremely rapid. I will not hesitate one minute to use Part Select in the future.
