First, unplug stove. Remove 2 screws from the oven plate, lift the plate with 2 hands and remove from oven. [The oven plate sit right on top of oven bracket.] Then I unplugged wires from the wiring harness. Removed the 2 screws from the igniter that was attached to the oven bracket. Replaced new igniter by plugging new wires first before attaching igniter back to oven bracket. Replace oven plate. Replug your stove back into electricity. And I turned the oven on.It took less than 30 minutes. I feel like I have a brand new stove. My oven works perfectly now. I purchased this stove 4 years ago. Now I believe the stove I had before this one probably had the same problem as this one. A problem which we could have solved with a $34 part plus shipping. I also saved myself a fee of $165.00. And that was my cheapest quote.
