Went to DIY for directions. Found directions specific to my GE refrigerator model. Followed them to the letter - fixed in less than 10 minutes. Gasket simply needed to be warmed with hair dryer to soften enough to straighten the crimps from the folding needed for packing. Lift the old gasket off the door by prying a starting point with a flat head screwdriver and peeling it off. Then clean the door with soap and water, dry it, and press the new gasket in place. Magnets inside the gasket make the connection. Smmoth it all the wat around, apply a little petroleum jelly to the gasket on the door's hinge side to prevent the door from sticking and you're done.
