I first unplugged our 12 year old stove, turned gas off, removed broiler pan, removed shield under broiler pan, and removed one nut holding V-shaped flame diffuser in place. This exposed the igniter at the rear of the oven. There are three screws securing the igniter shield, remove them. Next I removed the storage drawer to gain access to another shield in the back corner of the oven protecting the plugin for the igniter. There are two screws holding this shield in place, remove them. This exposes the igniter plugin. Carefully unplug the igniter. Remove the old igniter from the igniter shield assembly. Insert the new igniter and screw the igniter assembly back into place with the three screws. Go under the stove and plug in the new igniter. The hardest part for me was putting the shield under the stove back with the two screws. Put the storage drawer back. Reinstall the flame diffuser. Place the shield over it and the broiler pan. Plug the stove in and turn on the gas. This solved the problem. Thanks PartSelect.com.
