lights on control panel started to fail then stopped

I opened the front of the door to look and see what would be involved to make a repair. Looked to be a simple repair. Placed an part order at 3am on Sunday and got the part 10 am Tuesday. Once I started the repair it was complete in less than 30 minutes. The only concern I had was if I was able to push the ribbon strip into the plug far enough. It was sufficient and is working flawlessly. I'm very pleased with the repair. If was very easy and much cheaper than replacing the appliance, which was my first thought.
