Bake element burned out

Turn off the circuit breaker that supplies electrical current to oven and remove oven door. Using socket wrench, remove back plate that holds the element in place. Then, gently pull out element from back wall until prongs and the two wires are visible. Remove screws holding prongs to the wires and discard the old element. Using the screws that came with the new part, secure the element in place and secure the back plate against the wall of the oven.
