The washer would fill and agitate but would not spin

I discovered that the washer lid switch housing had fractured around the 2 screws that hold it to the rim of the washer. When the lid was lowered and the pin pushed against the switch lever, the entire housing assembly would lower so the switch could not activate. I found PartSelect through an online search. There was also a Youtube, how-to video that was very well done and made the whole process very easy. I ordered the part online Wednesday afternoon and it was delivered by FedEx late Friday morning. In less than an hour after that I was able to replace the part and get the washer up and running. This was the first time I used PartSelect but when I have future appliance needs, I will check here first. Wow and thank you Parts Select.
