Discovered no cooling to unit. Spoke to local repair people and found out more often than not it is the thermostat, however they tried to convience me that it could be about 10 other issues. There was absolutly nothing but the light working on the unit. Decided to order the thermostat kit and take my chances, alternative was a minimum of $500 for decent replacement. Recieved part, disconnected from electric, removed back sheet metal cover which exposes the insertion point of temperature monitor. Disconnected 2 wires to existing thermostat and removed 2 screws holding in place. Temperature monitor is installed to bottom of back interior plate, I decided to remove all interior shelves which are held in place by plastic push pins, center of pin pulls out leaving female componet installed into shelf clip and side wall of unit. After removing shelves removed back plate by removing 4 corner screws and nylon stand offs. Unscrewed temperature monitor cover and removed old thermostat. Pushed new temp monitor into unit and attatched to power at front, tested by plugging in. Worked. Unplugged power and reassembled unit back to pre-fix condition. Unit now working fine. Found on my unit that the new temperature dial at front of unit was to big so used old dial.
