The timer knob fell off my dryer about a month ago. I could see that the little post holder thingy on the inside was cracked. I tried duct taping it. Didn't work. So I was using pliers to turn on the dryer as I did not have time to look up a repair person and did not want to wait around all day for one to show up in the "four-hour window." Then it dawned on me - I should try to find the part on the internet. I typed into my browser "Frigidaire Dryer parts." And I went to the first site that popped up…www.Partselect.com.The site showed me where to locate the model number on my dryer. I typed in the number and then selected the timer knob as the part I needed. There was a brief video showing me how to install the part. Took less than 5 minutes to place my order - $30 with shipping. That was Sunday at 10 p.m.- it arrived Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. I followed the installation directions and had my dryer back up and running within 30 seconds.
