Dryer would not turn on

With a few hours of research online I found a site to help me diagnose what was going wrong with the dryer. After another hour of tracking down my multimeter (not thinking to just bypass the fuse) it tested bad. So after all the additional time to diagnose the problem, coupled with the two-days to get the part from Partselect, the repair took less than 15 minutes! Now I actually have a use for the multimeter I got from a computer class all those years ago...
