Ice Maker stopped making ice. A clicking sound was coming out of the unit.

I removed the ice maker unit completely from the freezer, following a Utube repair video that I found. I originally thought it was just the control board that was defective, because on examination, found a burned-out copper trace on the board, as well as a burned-out plastic connection point. Installing the new parts was a breeze. This icemaker is pretty foolproof, with plastic tabs that line up with the housing. a matter of lining up the screw holes was all that was necessary. Only problem I had was attaching a plastic cover that shields the electrical connection from the water. Once all was installed, I had to wait overnight for the icemaker to make ice.
