found problem by activating the dispenser and forcing the filter bypass to turn past its stop. this caused flow to return to normal. So ordered this part to replace the whole filter holder assembly. 1. Turned off the water. 2. disconnected the water lines. 3. Removed plastic cover on part inside the refrigerator. It snaps out with no screws. 4. Removed two screws and the cover over the hoses on the outside of refrigerator. 5. Removed the two screws holding part inside refrigerator. 6. Removed the part and slid the hoses through the hole. 7. Installed new part by feeding hoses through hole and replacing all the screws and parts. 8. Turned water on and all is well
