Remove the two screws at the top of the condenser cover and slide out the cover. The heater is at the bottom of the coil. Remove the two philips head screws and pull the heater off the tabs holding it in place. Unplug the wires and, in my case, reroute the blue wire from the left to the right. The blue wire didn't quite reach to the new location, so I used the included wire extension and compression wire nut to extend it. I wrapped the wire nut with electrical tape for a little added moisture protection and screwed the new unit in.
