Open freezer doors and turned freezer to off position. Removed back panels to freezer! Let stand until ice was melted. Turn off breaker to refrigator since the refrigator was too large to pull out of custom cabinet for me. I'm a 54 year old female. Removed clips and Defrost Heater and Thermostat Assembly and replaced with new one. Replaced the panels. Turn breaker back on and turn the freezer to on position. Dumped the first tray of ice. It's been about a week with no problems. With a little research the average person can diagnose their problem and if you are handy with a screw driver and don't mind get down on the floor you can save yourself some, time and money and feel good about your achivement upon successful completion. Well at less it has always worked for me! I can fix most things that the average guy won't even think about! Well I've always said that I have more time than money! Choose you battles!
