The original handle had two metal tabs in the handle assembly where the latch fit in. The replacement part did not have those tabs. Thinking that the wrong part had been packaged in the parts bag, I ordered the part again and followed the instructions in the excellent 'how to' video. Cut the electricity at the breaker panel, opened up the inside panel using a T20 torx head and simply lifted out the old assembly. The handle and holding fixture are pre-assembled; just pull off the old wiring and put on new part one at a time to avoid mixing up. No need to screw in, the handle is held in place by replacing the panel. Turned on the power and sent a load of dishes through a cycle while holding my breath. Worked perfectly. Kind of amused that the bag the replacement part came in was marked 'Made in the USA'. The part inside had a label that read 'Made in Mexico'. A real team effort! Good work, team!
