I went online for instructions and replaced the worn parts. My son-in-law had already tried a new belt, which did not work because of the wear on the bearing and slides. I found the web site to be very helpful because I had not seen the dryer prior to disassembly by my son-in-law. The old slides were worn so much that the drum was wearing a hole in the bearing. I advise replacing the slides when the dryer begins to make a squeaking noise and not wait for the bearing to start to wear.
