Only tool need was a nutdriver. Removed back cover on control panel, pulled off indicator knob and 2 screws that held the timer in place. Removed color coded wires one at a time and hooked them up to the new timer one at a time to make sure they were on the correct connector. This took approximately one half hour tops.
