Disconnected the power supply. Removed the two screws that attach the dryer top to the front door panel. Removed the two screws that secure the front door panel and carefully separated the door panel from the base without disconnecting electrical. Removed the old drum bearing from the door panel. Installed the 4 new drum slides on new bearing and installed new bearing on door panel. Removed lower front felt drum seal from door panel and carefully installed new felt drum seal. Re-installed the screws and connected the power supply and turned on the dryer. The dryer is as quiet as it was when new. The parts cost a total of $53.62 including shipping. I initially called a repair service who charged me $59.00 to diagnose the problem. The repair service wanted to charge an additional $240.00 ($130.00 for parts & $110.00 for labor) It pays do some research first. I will definitely be using PartSelect in the future.
