dishwasher door spring failed

I went on the internet and found what the problem more than likely was. I then removed the lower cover, under the dishwasher door ( 4 screws), immediatly saw what the problem was, the eyelet on the door cable spring had worn through. I did a search on the internet for a place to buy the part I needed (not available locally). I found PartSelect, their chart described the part perfectly, plus the picture matched my old part. I ordered the part, installed it when it arrived about 3 days later. It couldn't have gone any easier. The part cost just under $20 including shipping. To order the part locally would have been $35 and would have taken 2 weeks for shipping.
