First, I loosened the two top screws and removed
the bottom screw. Then lifted the unit up and out.
Next, I unplugged the wire plug and removed the
ice maker unit from frig. The replacement ice maker was identical to the original, wire loom and all. So all I had to do is plug in the wire plug, slide the top down on the loosened screws and tighten them. Next, installed the bottom screw, turned on the water, flipped the wire down and waited for ice. We had ice being made by the next morning and in about 3 days had a full bin.
