replaced belt. As I am a very big guy, I tipped the dryer back against the wall once opened to loop the belt over the pully and through the tensioner. The tipping back kept me from having to lay on the floor. I sat on a step stool and reached in, most convenient.Taking on and off the panels for the first time was the worst part, I had to find hidden screws and clips, and I took off a panel I didn't need to on the back.If I do it again, it will be easier. I do have a small roaring noise now, probably a drum seal that didn't seat.
