Knob on cooker melted when in contact with pan
Easy to remove knob, only tricky thing was finding the right replacement from the many knobs available. Trick was not to look at the code on the knob, but the model number for the range underneath so that the phone operator could identify the proper knob. Once that was done, it took 3 seconds from receipt to put new knobs on!

Does this knob have the metal insert on the d shaped shaft?

Want to order new knobs for the control panel in stainless steel. In the parts picture they look black. Please advise which finish they have.
