Latch handle broke off and we could barely unlatch door

Remove about 8 torx screws on inside door panel. Prop panel to hold door open. Disconnect power from dishwasher (I did not realize I was getting entire latch assembly including switches). Old latch assembly comes right off since it is secure with panel screws. Using a flat head, carefully pry electrical connectors from switches; I would remove one and immediately connect it on the new assembly so I would not get them mixed up. Reposition new assembly on door. Put panel back in place and replace screws. Door may "pop" when closed but that is just the panel snapping back in place. Restore power to dishwasher. Test door latch. Voila!
