I checked a out a couple videos on youtube to be sure, but it really is as easy as others have described. I used a flathead screwdriver to pry the interior plastic casing (choke) away from the metal doorframe. I only did the top, bottom, and side with the handle, to expose the screws. It was a bit of a pain since he choke kept pressing on my hands as I was unscrewing the interior screws to the handle. I'm sure I could have propped it open with something if I was more patient. Once that was done, I put the new handle on using the same screws, pressed the choke back on, which snapped into place easily. My husband was impressed later when he saw the new handle.
