My wife tried to soften peanut butter in the blender and burned up the rubber drive coupling. Parts Select had the part and the instructions to install it and I had the blender fixed less than 24 hours after my wife said, "Honey, I think I did something stupid!" When I looked at it I noticed the shaft, under the coupling, was 'notched' to accept a wrench. Like most people here I couldn't find one thin enough (the smallest I have are an auto ignition wrench set); in any case the pry method worked for me. It wasn't too long ago that a situation like this would result in a blender in the trash and us shopping for a new one.
