Washer would go thru complete cycle but water wouldnt drain advanced timer around to spin mode washer would complete water would drain
Removed 5 phillps head screws from back of control panel which would allow control panel to swing forward removed pin that secures knob to timer, removed 1 phillps screw that secures timer to back of control panel. Unplugged wire harness reversed all steps installed new timer.Ran washer thru 2 cycles worked like a new one. Saved 80 bucks

My washer will not spin. Seems like the timer is in the off position and turns the machine off instead of spinning. If i try to set it to spin, it does nothing. Not sure if the timer is bad or something else and really don't want to spend money on unneeded parts. Can you help please. Thank you in advance.

Hello Deborah, thank you for contacting us. A common part that can prevent the washer from spinning would be the door latch/switch. If this becomes faulty the washer will shut off before spin cycle as it thinks the door is open due to faulty switch. You can test this with a multi-meter to determine if it is faulty.
