Followed the directions in the video. The newer part has a metal to metal insert in the coupling. The original part was plastic to metal. The new version should last longer.

I was pretty sure the coupling was the problem the pump which works off the other end of the motor still worked and would drane water out of the tub, the tub or agitator would not turn. The repair was very easy and followed the video exactly. We did take the washer out into the garage to avoid spilling water on the hard wood floors. We also had more room to drop the front. The new version of the coupling has to be tapped on to the shafts of the motor and pump, They do not just slide on. I used a 5/8ths sockett and a small hammer. A piece of broom handle or wood would also work.
