The new part came with directions or it would be a very hard thing to figure out. The drive wheel was hard rubber with a threaded aluminum base that screwed on to the drive motor. To replace this part required a speciat tool to hold the drive shaft while unscrewing the old part. The directions showed to simply pry the aluminum base off the motor shaft bending the alumunum but the motor shaft looked like stainless steel and was not damaged. then simpley screw on the replacement. No sweat!
