I followed the video instructions offered on Parts Select site. A first, I didn't undertsand why the tech was turning the coupling counterclockwise since it is a left hand threaded component. After prying the coupling off, it was obvious. The base material of the coupling is much softer then the threaded shaft of the blender. You are basically prying the threads out of the coupling. It took longer to go to the garage, pick the appropriate screwdriver and return, then it did to remove and replace the coupling.

Not to mention price, support (viedo) and service was great.
