I had already replaced the thermal fuse and the high limit switch and the dryer still was not getting hot enough to dry towels in one cycle. After looking at other peoples responses to a similar problem I decided that it must be the heating element. I ordered in on Sunday, they shipped it on Monday and I replaced it on Tuesday in less that 30 minutes. It works better than it has in months.
When I talked with a repair man before I started fixing the problem on my own, his suggestion was to buy a new dryer. I felt sure that a 5 year old dryer could be fixed reasonably and with the help you have on line made it easy enough that a 68 year old woman could do it herself. Thank you for your easy step by step directions and fast service.
