The Handle snapped and door would not open

Removed inside cover of door (several screws around outside edge of door), then the latch assembly itself. Getting the wires to release from the old latch was the most difficult--had to pry the wire clip loose from the inside with a small screw driver.
I saved a great deal by buying the part from PartSelect. I was able to purchase the entire handle/door latch assembly for just a few dollars more than the handle only at another site!
