This is the second or third time this dial has broken; I called our previously helpful handyman to fix the washer and while he was looking for the problem he broke the dail and did not tell me - put it back together improperly which made it almost impossible to use.....I found the dail and had someone else come out because I did not want to add to the problem - However - all one had to do was be careful as you pry the parts straight off and line up the notches when sliding the parts back on - the handyman did not line up the notches thus causing us to think it was broken in addition to the dail he broke! Really simple once you know what to do and do it - check out notches, they are small but important!
