1. Compared new clock/timer face to old/ damaged to ensure match.2. Unplugged stove3. Removed stove top element control knobs by pulling them off the shafts by hand.4. Unscrewed plastic threaded bushings at base of each of four element control shafts.5. Lifted off panel held on by bushings.6. Used phillips screw driver to remove two screws holding damaged clock/timer unit in place.7. Pulled clock/timer slightly away from mounting surface and turned it so that the bottom of it was visible where wires were connected to it. Then compared to same area on new clock/timer to ensure match.8. Moved new clock timer unit as close as possible and oriented it in same manner as damaged/still connected clock/timer unit.9. Removed one wire (equipped with slip on/off ends) at a time from damaged clock/timer unit and attached same wire to matching tab on new clock/timer unit before removing next wire.10. Reassembled in reverse order, plugged in stove and set clock and tested operation.
