One rack adjuster failed and the tine piviots wore out due to age.
I had changed a rack adjuster several years ago but decided to take a look at your videos before starting the repair. I watched both videos and then did exactly as suggested. The repair went very quickly and was extremely easy.
The repair is very simple: using a torx/star driver, I removed the 5 screws holding the original rack adjuster in place. Taking the 2 plastic pieces apart, I removed the old adjuster with the broken wheel and inserted the new adjuster wrapping them back around the rack side as before. NOTE: Once apart, I had no issues with the adjuster t
... Read moreab popping out, but others might. Just know that it's pretty self evident where and how it goes back in. (It pops back in very easily). I used the original screws and tightened things up once again, inserting the rack back into the dishwasher track and replacing the stop tabs at the ends of the slider bars. Took all of about 10 or 15 minutes - and only that long because I chose to wash and clean the insides of the rack adjusters to remove some (what I guess was) food pieces that were lodged in there.
I was wondering what the big deal was I just got a glass the right size placed it in the right front conner on the lower shelf to support the middle shelf and like magic it worked. Then I used the t 30 (t stands for torx) and r & r the medal wheele assembley.

Wheel Broke; Had To Insall Entire Rack Adjuster
Very easy to install; took me longer to figure out how to get the end pieces off the track. Keep the screws from old part - new part does not include screws. The replacement part is better made than the original.

Front wheel on rack adjuster broke off
First, I removed the top rack. then I removed the broken rack adjuster, which was held on by Five Small screws. Next, I installed the new adjuster, replaced the top rack in it's proper position and ran a load of dishes. Works like new. Easy install.

top rack wheels broke
My husband removed top rack, installed new rack adjusters and it was ready to go!
Super easy to fix. Drank my morning coffee and replaced the part while watching Good Morning America. I had watched the "how to" video at this web site before. Much cheaper than hiring someone to fix. Still grates that the design makes you buy $50 part to replace a 50 cent wheel. Oh well. by the way, I am a health professional female

rack wheel broke thus the top rack slips off the track if it is pulled out for loading. ck
we unscrewed one side and removed the rack adjuster. we replaced the wheels and screwed in the side. it works perfectly.

I propped up the dishwasher rack. I opened the stopper at the end of the track, just move it in the direction of the arrow. I removed the right side rack adjuster. Can I just get the wheels for my model of dishwasher?

Thanks for your question. The upper rack's wheels are only sold with the rack adjusters themselves, rather than being individually sold.

All I need is a replacement wheel for part #4. Can this wheel be obtained by itself, rather than spending $50 to replace the entire support?
