removed water supply hoses and drain hose, laid washer on its back with board to protect water inlet fittings, removed hoses from pump, removed mounting clips and pump from motor, removed electrical plug from motor, unscrewed and removed mounting clips and motor from base, removed broken coupling from motor shaft and transmission shaft, attached new coupling to motor shaft and transmission shaft and reassembled
