Turn off water supply. Take old one off. Compare the new part with the old. All looked about the same. Be very sure the water supply line is in the proper receptor or water will flow from the ice maker inside the freezer. Reattach all lines and circuit quick connects. Reattach valve housing to refridgerator rear frame. Place ice maker switch arm to the off position. Turn on water supply. Watch closly the areas that have compression fittings. Leaks will appear quickly if water lines are installed poorly. If no leaks detected then try water dispenser and turn the ice maker back on. I only had trouble with the compression fittings. However I always do. It took several trys to stops the micro leaks at the connections.
