First, I was thrilled that I rec'd my order for the replacement part the day after I placed it! Granted shipping was only Jacksonville to Orlando, but still...

I read several of the postings already on the site which were very helpful. The only spot of difficulty really was that the whole assembly is REVERSE THREADED which wasn't mentioned in the first post I read. Once past that hurdle, the only other challenge was in the rod on the outside of the bucket that interfaces with the wall of the freezer and helps open the chute to release the ice or something. After installing the replacement auger, I had to disconnect the spring assembly holding it into place and reposition the rod to make it work. My advice: pay close attention to how it's positioned before taking it apart.

Thanks for a great experience and big repair bill savings! I'll be using PartSelect again next time I have a repair!!
