Plastic part that held the screw in place broke...into many pieces

The repair was easy beyond my biggest imagination. It took longer to get the part of the box than it did to install it.
Three scres and that was it! Less thatn 5 minutes to install.

I just find it questionable why so many of these vent covers have to be replaced.(I saw all of the reviews before I purchased the part. Sure seems like a lot of broken covers.) Why do they break so easily and why hasn't KitchenAide made them ar bit more durable.
